Walk Pictures from 8/21 to 8/25 from Minneapolis Minnesota

Hi All,

Its been a week of interesting pictures – some from the Solar Eclipse and others brightly sunny.

I observed my Morning Glories and the Mallards during the Solar Eclipse event. One thing both exhibited was confusion.

The Morning Glories remained open on top but closed the bottom blossoms as the event took place. The ducks were napping at the beginning but then started hunting for night insects in a hurried way. They settled in a little pond and tried to drink water out of the fountain. They dipped and played all very much not the norm during the day. The ducks settled down after the event but the Morning Glory blossoms that closed stayed closed the rest of the day. The bees pollinating acted like the late afternoon and then hurried off back to the hive before the event was over.

I hope if you were able to observe the plant and animals around you during the Eclipse you took the opportunity.

Enjoy the pictures – its fun to share moments I find along the way.

About Miss

Enjoy working with everything related to computers. I have wanted to work with computers as a tool for Health Care since I was in High School and now I'm living the dream. My first love has always been reading. I was a regular at the Spring Valley Library reading all things romance. "This Rough Magic" by Mary Stewart was the first story I became lost in. Now my favorite author is Nora Roberts with my second love J.D. Robb. This blog is to celebrate the great stories, authors and readers that make up romance and mystery in literature today.
